This site is run by The Trustee for Compare Forex Brokers Unit Trust. We handle information about visitors in two ways: Google Analytics shows us how the site is used, and the contact form lets you write to us. This privacy policy is dated 3 November 2026.
What we collect
We do not run user accounts, a newsletter, comments or payments, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to buy here. The site also sets no cookies of its own: our pages never ask your browser to store any cookie of ours. Our trading calculators keep the exchange rates they fetch in your browser’s session storage, which clears when you close the tab, and they hold no personal information. The two parts of this site that do handle personal information are Google Analytics and our contact form, and each has its own section below.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 runs on every page and loads with the page. It records which pages you view, how you reached the site, whether through a search engine, a link or a typed address, your device type, your browser and your approximate location. To recognise a returning browser it sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by the property’s ID.
You can stop the measurement with Google’s opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser. Google keeps this data for 14 months.
The contact form
Our contact page has a form processed by Formspree (formspree.io). The fields are your name, your email address, the type of enquiry, an optional subject, your message of 50 to 3,000 characters, and a required tick confirming you have read the risk disclaimers.
Noam Korbl, our co-founder, reads the enquiries that arrive through the form. We aim to acknowledge your message within one business day, and any reply comes from a real person’s email address. Enquiries received through the form are deleted within two working days.
Videos
Where a page shows a video, the preview image loads from YouTube’s image server when the page appears. The player itself loads only after you press play, and it comes through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com.
Links to brokers
Our broker links pass through /landing-redirect/, which carries only the broker’s identifier and then sends you to the broker’s site. The destination address includes the broker partner programme’s reference so the broker can credit the referral, and nothing about you is added. Once you arrive on a broker’s site, the broker’s own privacy policy applies.
Where your information is handled
GitHub Pages hosts our pages and Cloudflare delivers them, and their systems handle your IP address to move each page to your browser, under their own privacy policies. Google, Formspree, GitHub and Cloudflare are overseas companies, so information they handle may be stored outside Australia.
Asking about your information
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you through the contact form: choose “Other” as the enquiry type and put “Privacy” in the subject line. The same one-business-day acknowledgement applies, so you will know your request has reached us.
