Quick verdict: TradingView brokers in Australia
I rank Pepperstone as the best TradingView broker in Australia because the native integration is the strongest we tested: the Razor account connects directly and Pepperstone has historically rebated Pro for qualifying clients. For me, OANDA takes second place by pairing native trading with the most mature API in the AU market. A free TradingView Basic plan is enough to trade through either, so you are not forced onto a paid charting tier just to access your broker.
That gap has closed for Australian traders in 2026. Eighteen of the 32 ASIC-regulated brokers we cover now support TradingView trading, meaning you place orders directly from the chart and the trade executes on your AFSL-regulated trading account. I rank the eight strongest below and profile the best builds in depth, with the full list of eighteen in the table further down.
The shortlist:
- Pepperstone: strongest native TradingView integration.
- OANDA: native trading plus a mature API.
- Eightcap: fast execution with 250+ crypto CFDs.
- Vantage: RAW account pricing from the chart.
- Capital.com: single-tier spread, no commission.
- FP Markets: TradingView beside MT4, MT5 and IRESS.
- Fusion Markets: cheapest commission on native TradingView.
- GO Markets: TradingView alongside MT4, MT5 and cTrader.
- Forex.com: native TradingView on a four-platform stack.
- FXCM: native TradingView plus basket CFDs.
Native connection quality varies more than pricing here, and that is the thing I would weigh first. The reviews below rate the integration first and the account second.
Beyond the eight ranked here, another ten ASIC brokers also let you trade from a TradingView chart, including easyMarkets, IC Markets and CMC Markets. In my view, the eight ranked above are the ones worth starting with, and the full list of eighteen is in the table further down.
My one recommendation: Pepperstone for the broadest integration and TradingView subscription rebate, OANDA if you prefer a US-style broker with deep API tooling.

Who TradingView trading suits
- Chart-driven discretionary traders who already use TradingView for analysis
- Traders who want one screen for charting and execution
- Pine Script users who build their own indicators and strategies
- Multi-asset traders who follow forex, crypto, indices and commodities on the same charts
Who it might not suit
- EA / algo traders running compiled MQL or cAlgo strategies (use MT5 or cTrader)
- Traders who need depth-of-market level-2 trading (use cTrader)
- Anyone trading exotic instruments outside TradingView’s symbol coverage
Watch: Best TradingView brokers Australia.
All eight brokers in the table are AFCA members and subject to ASIC’s Product Intervention Order, which caps retail traders at 30:1 on major forex pairs with tighter limits by asset class (see our ASIC forex regulation guide). What that means for you is simple: the leverage ceiling is the same across all eight, so the choice comes down to the integration and the account costs.
I need to be direct with you here: CFDs are leveraged products and carry a high risk of loss. Most retail CFD accounts lose money. You must review the broker's PDS and TMD before trading.
1. Pepperstone: the strongest TradingView integration
Pepperstone offers native TradingView execution on the Razor account, placing live orders from inside TradingView's charts. Pricing follows Razor at A$3.50 per side, with EUR/USD raw spreads averaging 0.10 pips in our May and June 2026 captures, and TradingView sits alongside MT4, MT5, cTrader and the Pepperstone Trading Platform on one login. The 30-day renewable demo covers TradingView with an AUD 50,000 virtual balance, so you can test the integration before any money moves. Pepperstone has held ASIC AFSL 414530 since 2013.
TradingView's 2025 Broker Awards named Pepperstone "Best in Forex and CFD" for Australia, and it took the platform's Broker of the Year title in 2022. TradingView says its awards go to the brokers most popular with its users, so read this as a popularity signal rather than a verdict on pricing or execution. In TradingView's symbol search, observed 22 September 2026, Pepperstone's gold CFD (XAUUSD) and Bitcoin CFD (BTCUSD) appear first with a "Featured" label, a promoted placement rather than a ranking. Before you compare quotes on a chart, check which broker's symbol it is running.

Pros & Cons
- ASIC AFSL 414530 since 2013; founded in Melbourne in 2010 with continuing Australian operations
- Razor RAW account with EUR/USD spreads from 0.0 pips and AUD 7 round-turn per lot
- Five trading platform options (MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView, Pepperstone Platform)
- Share CFD range narrower than CMC, IG, IBKR (around 1,200 vs 10,000+ at CMC)
- No native ASX share investing (CFD only)
- Standard account spreads less competitive than the Razor account; choose Razor if you trade actively
Broker's Detail
Founded in Melbourne in 2010, Pepperstone is one of Australia's largest forex brokers, holding ASIC AFSL 414530 since 2013 and Tier-1 licences with the FCA (UK), BaFin (Germany), CySEC (Cyprus), CMA (Kenya) and DFSA (Dubai). That regulatory depth is part of why I rate the integration so highly: the broker has solid backing behind the charting front end.
Of the two account types, the Razor (RAW) account pairs EUR/USD spreads from 0.0 pips with AUD 7 round-turn commission per standard lot, while the Standard account is commission-free with EUR/USD from roughly 1.1 pips. TradingView is available on the Razor account only, not on Standard, so the Razor account is the one you have to pair with it.
Funding is fee-free via PayID, BPAY, card and PayPal. AUD-denominated accounts available. Retail leverage capped at ASIC's maximum on major pairs, with negative balance protection and AFCA dispute coverage standard. Customer support runs 24/7 by live chat, which I would want when your chart order needs a human on the other end.
Pepperstone spread table (averaged over our May to June 2026 test cycle):
| Pair | Razor avg spread (pips) | + commission equivalent | Total cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| EUR/USD | 0.10 | 0.45 | 0.55 |
| AUD/USD | 0.10 | 0.45 | 0.55 |

| USD/JPY | 0.10 | 0.45 | 0.55 |
| EUR/GBP | 0.30 | 0.45 | 0.75 |
2. OANDA: second-strongest, with deep API tooling
OANDA's TradingView integration is native trade-from-the-chart execution, described in our testing notes as a Pepperstone-tier setup, and I would call that a top-tier native setup, so you get the same chart-first workflow without leaving OANDA's account. It connects to Raw account pricing at A$3.50 per side commission on forex and metals, with EUR/USD raw spreads measuring 0.20 pips in our July 2026 capture. TradingView joins MT4, MT5 and the proprietary OANDA Trade platform, algo traders get a free REST and streaming API as well, and the unlimited demo carries USD 100,000 in virtual funds. OANDA Australia has held ASIC AFSL 412981 since around 2010.

ASIC AFSL 412981
Pros & Cons
- ASIC AFSL 412981 plus CFTC/NFA, FCA, MAS, CIRO and JFSA, one of the most comprehensively regulated brokers in the world
- Native TradingView trading integration through a Pepperstone-tier setup
- OANDA Trade proprietary platform is clean, fast and well-built for currency-focused traders
- Raw account's 0.44 measured eight-pair average trails the tightest RAW brokers
- Product range narrower than CMC, IG or IBKR; under 150 instruments total
- Premium pricing tiers require an AUD 10,000 balance to unlock the tightest spreads
Broker's Detail
Founded in Toronto in 1996, OANDA holds the broadest licence set on this page, with ASIC (AFSL 412981), CFTC/NFA (US), FCA (UK), MAS (Singapore), CIRO (Canada) and JFSA (Japan), making it one of the most comprehensively regulated brokers in the world. That regulatory reach is why I would send API-minded traders here without hesitation.
OANDA prices two ways in Australia: spread-only, or raw spreads plus a commission. Four accounts sit across those models. Standard is spread-only with EUR/USD around 1.4 pips and no minimum. Raw pairs spreads from 0.0 pips with AUD 3.50 per side (AUD 7.00 round-turn). Premium Spreads (from 0.2 pips, no commission) and Premium Commission (from 0.0 pips plus AUD 2.75 per side) both need an AUD 10,000 balance or high notional volume. The OANDA Trade proprietary platform is paired with MT4, MT5 and native TradingView trading, and I would pair TradingView with the Raw account.
With a $0 minimum deposit and AU funding via PayID, BPAY and card on which OANDA charges no deposit fee (17 September 2026), OANDA is the easiest entry point on this list. AUD-denominated accounts are available, retail leverage is capped at ASIC's maximum on major pairs, and negative balance protection and AFCA dispute coverage come standard.
OANDA spread table (averaged over our September 2026 test cycle):
| Pair | OANDA Standard (measured avg pips) | Avg of 8 measured standard accounts |
|---|---|---|
| EUR/USD | 0.99 | 0.83 |
| AUD/USD | 0.88 | 0.87 |
| GBP/USD | 1.52 | 1.20 |
| USD/JPY | 1.03 | 1.14 |
| EUR/GBP | 1.09 | 1.44 |
| EUR/JPY | 2.65 | 2.07 |
3. Eightcap: strong execution and crypto CFD coverage
Eightcap runs native TradingView trade execution, one of the small group of ASIC brokers offering live order placement from the charts rather than chart-only access, and I would put it in the same execution tier as Pepperstone and OANDA. Raw pricing gives TradingView traders an eight-pair average of 0.15 pips in our May to June 2026 capture, plus A$3.50 per side commission; EUR/USD was not measured in that window. The AUD 100 minimum deposit keeps the entry cost low for you, and MT4, MT5 and TradeLocker are there for strategies that outgrow the charts. Eightcap trades under AFSL 391441, current since 2011.

Pros & Cons
- ASIC AFSL 391441 current since 2011, Eightcap founded in Melbourne in 2009, with its Australian operations continuing
- Native TradingView trading integration (one of a small AU group)
- 250+ crypto derivative markets, deepest crypto CFD range of any ASIC broker we cover
- Share CFD range narrower than CMC, IG and IBKR (around 600 versus 10,000+)
- Research and education stack lighter than Pepperstone Insights or CMC's analyst feed
- Customer support is 24/5 only (no weekend live phone or chat)
Broker's Detail
Eightcap, Melbourne-founded in 2009 (AFSL 391441), offers the deepest crypto CFD range among our ASIC-regulated brokers with 250+ crypto derivative markets, subject to the 2:1 retail leverage cap. That range is why I rank it third for traders who want crypto CFDs alongside forex from TradingView.
Of the two account types, the Raw account pairs EUR/USD spreads from 0.0 pips with AUD 7 round-turn commission, while the Standard account is commission-free with spreads from 1.0 pips. With MT4, MT5 and native TradingView supported, I would pair TradingView with the Raw account, since the spread-only Standard account leaves too much cost on the table for active chart traders.
Funding is fee-free via PayID, BPAY and card, with $100 minimum deposit. AUD-denominated accounts available. Retail leverage capped at ASIC's standard tiers, with AFCA dispute coverage and negative balance protection. Customer support runs 24/5 by live chat and email, which I would call adequate for a chart-first account.
Eightcap spread table (averaged over our May to June 2026 test cycle):
| Pair | Raw avg spread (pips) | + commission equivalent | Total cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| EUR/USD | 0.00 | 0.45 | 0.45 |
| AUD/USD | 0.15 | 0.45 | 0.60 |
| GBP/USD | 0.25 | 0.45 | 0.70 |
| USD/JPY | 0.15 | 0.45 | 0.60 |
| EUR/JPY | 0.40 | 0.45 | 0.85 |
4. Vantage: RAW account at competitive cost
Vantage connects a TradingView account for execution directly in the charting interface, available on the Standard and Raw Classic accounts, though not on Raw Premium or Perpetual. The RAW account's commission is A$2.50 per side (A$5.00 round turn), with measured raw spreads of 0.18 pips on EUR/USD in May and June 2026, and the AUD 50 minimum deposit is among the lower thresholds in our coverage. MT4 and MT5 share the same pricing engine behind the charts. Vantage has operated under AFSL 428901 since 2012, founded in Sydney as Vantage FX in 2009, and I would put the Raw Classic account at the top of the shortlist for cost-focused chart traders.

Why higher here? Platform Fit here is about native TradingView. Vantage runs it on the RAW account at A$2.50 per side, the second-cheapest commission on this page, which lifts it above its #24 sitewide position. Its wider measured raw spread offsets some of that edge. See the ranking method ↓
Pros & Cons
- ASIC AFSL 428901 since 2012, plus FCA (UK), FSCA (South Africa) and CIMA regulation across the group
- Genuinely broad platform offering: MT4, MT5, TradingView native and the Vantage App
- RAW account spreads from 0.0 pips on EUR/USD with AUD 2.50 per side commission (AUD 5.00 round turn)
- Inactivity fee of USD 25 per month after just 90 days dormant, aggressive by AU standards
- Share CFD range narrower than CMC, IG and IBKR
- Customer support is 24/5 only (closes weekends), unlike Pepperstone or Plus500
Broker's Detail
Sydney-founded in 2009 and ASIC-regulated under AFSL 428901, Vantage is a mid-sized ECN broker with a broader product range than forex-pure brokers, including more share CFDs, ETFs and indices. That product spread is why I would route equity CFD traders here rather than to a forex-only shop.
The RAW account pairs EUR/USD spreads from 0.0 pips with AUD 5.00 round-turn commission (A$2.50 per side), a rate that undercuts most of this list. The Standard account is commission-free with wider spreads. Platforms supported are MT4, MT5 and TradingView, and if you trade frequently from the charts, that RAW commission is worth your attention.
$50 minimum deposit with fee-free AU funding via PayID, BPAY, card and bank transfer. Retail leverage capped at ASIC's maximum on major pairs. AFCA dispute coverage and negative balance protection standard.
Vantage spread table (averaged over our May to June 2026 test cycle):
| Pair | Vantage RAW avg spread (pips) | + commission equivalent | Total cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| EUR/USD | 0.18 | 0.32 | 0.50 |
| AUD/USD | 0.2 | 0.6 | 0.8 |

| USD/JPY | 0.1 | 0.6 | 0.7 |
| EUR/JPY | 0.4 | 0.6 | 1.0 |
5. Capital.com: native TradingView trading on a single-tier spread
Capital.com's TradingView integration executes from inside TradingView charts on a par with Pepperstone, OANDA and Eightcap, rather than through a webhook workaround, and I would call it a top-tier native setup for a spread-only account. It connects to the spread-only retail account, so there is no separate commission to track, and the minimum deposit is A$20. Behind the charts sit 4,500+ instruments across forex, indices, shares, commodities and crypto CFDs, with an API also offered for automated work. Broker's Detail
Capital.com, founded in 2016 and ASIC-regulated under AFSL 513393, stands out for Investmate, its in-house AI assistant that surfaces behavioural biases and recommends learning content based on your trade history. I have not seen another broker on this list pair TradingView with that kind of behavioural tooling, which makes Capital.com the pick if you want the chart plus a coach.
With dynamic pricing and no published fixed rate, EUR/USD measured 0.74 pips on the Standard account with no commission in our September 2026 capture. That means you cannot work out your round-turn cost before you fund, which is the trade-off for the single-tier simplicity. Platforms supported are Capital.com's proprietary web and mobile apps, MT4, MT5 and native TradingView trading.
$100 minimum deposit with fee-free AU funding via PayID, BPAY, card and Apple Pay. Retail leverage capped at ASIC's maximum on major pairs. AFCA dispute coverage and negative balance protection standard, which I would call a safe base for a first TradingView account.
Capital.com spread table (averaged over our September 2026 test cycle, MT4 CFD account):
| Pair | Capital.com MT4 CFD (measured avg pips) | Avg of 8 measured standard accounts |

6. FP Markets: multi-platform broker with TradingView added
FP Markets runs TradingView as part of its wider platform stack, with execution requiring a linked cTrader ID, and I would not treat that link as a dealbreaker. Raw account pricing is A$3.50 per side on AUD MetaTrader accounts or US$3.00 per side on cTrader, and EUR/USD measured 0.30 pips in our September 2026 capture. A TradingView mobile app joins the MT4, MT5, cTrader and IRESS apps on iOS and Android, and the 30-day renewable demo includes TradingView for testing the link before funding. - Standard (no commission) spreads less competitive than the Raw account; choose Raw if you trade actively
- IRESS account requires a separate application and higher minimum balance
- Education library is solid but lighter than CMC's or IG's
Broker's Detail
Founded in Sydney in 2005, FP Markets holds AFSL 286354 and is one of the longest-running Australian-headquartered RAW-style brokers, with additional licences from CySEC (Cyprus), FSCA (South Africa), FSC (Mauritius) and CMA (Kenya). Two decades of operation is the kind of longevity I like to see behind a broker that now routes chart orders through a cTrader link.
The Raw account pairs EUR/USD spreads from 0.0 pips with AUD 7 round-turn commission per standard lot, while the Standard account is commission-free with wider spreads. The differentiator on this list is the IRESS account, which provides DMA-priced share CFDs on ASX and international stocks, and no other broker on this page gives you both TradingView for forex and IRESS for direct-market-access shares.
$100 minimum deposit on the Raw and Standard accounts; the IRESS account requires a separate application and higher balance. Funding is fee-free via PayID, BPAY, card and PayPal. Retail leverage capped at ASIC's maximum on major pairs. AFCA dispute coverage and negative balance protection standard.

7. Fusion Markets: cheapest commission on native TradingView
Fusion Markets treats TradingView as a full trading platform with live order execution, routed through its cTrader backend with cTrader-method commission, and Zero account pricing keeps costs at A$2.25 per side (A$4.50 round turn). EUR/USD raw spreads measured 0.01 pips in our September 2026 capture, ranked first of the 11 raw accounts we measured, and there is no minimum deposit. For traders drifting between chart-led and automated styles, MT4, MT5 and cTrader run from the same login, so a TradingView habit does not lock the account in. Fusion has traded under ASIC AFSL 385620 since its 2017 launch; the FMGP Trading Group licence dates to 2011.

Broker's Detail
Founded in 2017 and operating from Melbourne, Fusion Markets trades under FMGP Trading Group Pty Ltd, AFSL 385620. Native TradingView trading is delivered through the broker's cTrader backend, so chart orders execute on the same infrastructure as the cTrader account, which is why the commission comes in at cTrader-method pricing and why I would send cost-focused chart traders here first.
The Zero account pairs an EUR/USD raw average of 0.04 pips with an AUD 4.50 round-turn commission per standard lot, making it the cheapest commission on this page and the tightest raw spread our capture recorded. A commission-free Standard account is also available, averaging around 0.83 pips on EUR/USD. Platforms supported are MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradingView.
With a $0 minimum deposit and no inactivity fee, you can open an account with nothing down and leave it dormant without penalty, which suits a chart-first trader who is still deciding. Retail leverage is capped at ASIC's maximum on major pairs, and AFCA dispute coverage and negative balance protection come standard.

8. GO Markets: TradingView alongside MT4, MT5 and cTrader

Broker's Detail
GO Markets is Melbourne-based and holds AFSL 254963, giving it one of the longest continuous Australian licences in the CFD market. I like that native TradingView trading runs alongside cTrader on the same account, so there is no need to choose between charting and execution.
The GO Plus+ account delivers an EUR/USD raw average of 0.10 pips and a round-turn commission of AUD 6 per standard lot. For commission-free trading, the Standard account averages around 0.90 pips on EUR/USD. Supported platforms are MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView and the GO TradeX mobile app.

9. Forex.com: native TradingView on a four-platform stack
Forex.com offers native TradingView integration: connect a TradingView Pro or Premium account and orders execute directly from TradingView charts. Our May and June 2026 capture put RAW Pricing at an average of 0.39 pips across eight pairs, with commission of A$3.50 per side. Those who want to avoid commission can use the Standard account, which runs spread-only from a AUD 100 minimum deposit. Broker's Detail
Forex.com makes the list because of its native TradingView connection. Link a TradingView Pro or Premium account and orders execute straight from the charts, no bridge software involved. The account gives you two pricing routes. Our May and June 2026 capture measured RAW Pricing at 0.39 pips across eight pairs, with a commission of A$3.50 per side; the Standard account trades spread-only from a AUD 100 minimum deposit. MT4, MT5 and the proprietary Forex.com Web Platform complete a four-platform stack, and the web platform carries guaranteed stop-loss orders that the MetaTrader builds do not. The Australian entity, StoneX Financial Pty Ltd, holds ASIC AFSL 345646 inside the NASDAQ-listed StoneX group, and is an AFCA member.
10. FXCM: native TradingView plus basket CFDs
I recommend FXCM for TradingView-first forex traders. The integration is native, no third-party bridge, but you need a TradingView Pro or Premium subscription. The platform range is distinctive rather than deep: the proprietary Trading Station, home of FXCM's basket CFDs like USDOLLAR and JPYBASKET, pairs with MT4. There is no MT5 and no cTrader in any region. Our September 2026 capture put the Standard account's EUR/USD spread at an average of 0.85 pips, and the AUD 50 minimum deposit is among the lowest at established brokers. Stratos Trading Pty Limited holds ASIC AFSL 309763.

- Native TradingView integration with no third-party bridge

- Standard account uses markup-based pricing (no commission, but spreads carry the cost)
- AUD 50 inactivity fee after 12 months (charged in your account currency)
Broker's Detail
FXCM is the specialist choice for TradingView-first traders. The integration is native, no third-party bridge, and requires a TradingView Pro or Premium subscription. Alongside it sit MetaTrader 4 and the proprietary Trading Station, which carries FXCM's basket CFDs (USDOLLAR, JPYBASKET and equity-themed baskets) not available at any other AU broker we cover. There is no MT5 and no cTrader in any region. The cost is the caveat: our September 2026 capture put the Standard account's EUR/USD spread at an average of 0.85 pips, wider than the raw-plus-commission leaders on this page. The AUD 50 minimum deposit is among the lowest at established brokers. Stratos Trading Pty Limited holds ASIC AFSL 309763, ASIC-regulated since around 2007.
Every ASIC broker with TradingView (2026)
Out of the 32 ASIC-regulated brokers we cover, 18 now offer native TradingView trading. That means you place orders from the chart and they execute on your broker account. One more, eToro, builds TradingView charts into its own platform but keeps order entry inside the eToro app. The table below shows every option and which type it is.
- Native: connect your broker account inside TradingView and trade directly from the chart.
- Integrated: TradingView charting is built into the broker’s own platform, but you place orders in that platform rather than from a TradingView account.
- TradingView user rating: the score on each broker’s own TradingView profile and the number of ratings behind it, captured September 2026. These come from people who linked an account and traded from the chart, so they grade the integration more than the broker overall. The samples are nowhere near comparable either: Interactive Brokers carries 38,904 ratings where GO Markets has 322.

TradingView availability verified against each broker’s Australian entity on 11 July 2026.
Several brokers in the table above carry 2025 TradingView Broker Awards. Pepperstone won “Best in Forex and CFD” for Australia, the only category award TradingView gave for the Australian region. The regional awards went elsewhere: OANDA for East Asia, Capital.com for the Middle East, FOREX.com for North America, CMC Markets for Southeast Asia, ThinkMarkets for Europe and Trade Nation for the United Kingdom, all “Best in Forex and CFD”. Interactive Brokers took “Best in Options” for North America. Spotlight awards went to IC Markets (“Social Champion”), easyMarkets (“Customer Support Excellence”) and Eightcap (“Most Reliable Tech”). Earlier Broker of the Year winners were Pepperstone in 2022, OANDA in 2023 and easyMarkets in 2024. TradingView selects winners by popularity among its users, so treat these as a signal of user sentiment, not of pricing, execution or safety.
Availability is one filter; cost is the other. Below, we rank the ASIC brokers offering TradingView by what a month of trading costs, using our measured spreads and each broker’s published commission. The figures are account-level. If a broker prices its terminals differently, we show the account rate named, so confirm the commission for the terminal you actually open.
How TradingView native trading works
I rate TradingView the strongest charting platform on the market. Its indicator quality, drawing tools, rendering speed and public library of community scripts are a clear step ahead of MT4, MT5 and cTrader. The terminology trips people up. There are three different TradingView setups, and only one of them is “real” trading.
Charting only. You log into TradingView, view charts, build watchlists. No broker connection. Free.
TradingView + broker chart sync. Some brokers push live prices into TradingView for charting, but you still place orders inside the broker’s own platform (MT4, MT5, cTrader or proprietary). It is useful, but the workflow still involves two windows.
TradingView + broker native trading (the topic of this page). This is the setup I want you to have. Connect your broker account inside TradingView. The trading panel at the bottom of the chart shows your live balance, open positions, working orders and trade history. You place orders from the chart by right-clicking, and they execute on your broker account. One window, one workflow.
The third option is the one we cover. Every broker in our table offers it for Australian retail clients.
Setting it up
The flow is similar across every broker that offers it:
- First, open and verify a live trading account with the broker. That’s the ASIC verification and AUSTRAC ID check.
- Fund the account
- Next, go to TradingView, click “Trading Panel” at the bottom, and choose the broker from the integrations list.
- Then authenticate with your broker login. In most cases, the handshake uses OAuth or a similar token exchange.
- Place orders from the chart
There is no extra fee from the broker for the connection itself. Whether you pay TradingView depends on the subscription tier you choose.
TradingView Pro, Plus and Premium pricing
TradingView bills its subscription tiers directly, not the broker. As of June 2026, billing is in USD, and the typical AUD figures you see below assume an exchange rate of 0.65.
| Tier | Monthly (USD) | Annual (USD, billed monthly) | Approx AUD/month | Key features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic (free) | $0 | $0 | $0 | 1 chart per layout, 2 indicators per chart, ads |
| Essential | $14.95 | $12.95 | ~AUD 20 | 2 charts, 5 indicators, no ads |
| Plus | $29.95 | $24.95 | ~AUD 38 | 4 charts, 10 indicators, intraday timeframes |
| Premium | $59.95 | $49.95 | ~AUD 77 | 8 charts, 25 indicators, custom timeframes, 1-second bars |
AUD figures are approximate and depend on the AUD/USD rate at the time of billing. Subscription fees are charged by TradingView, not your broker.
A few things to know:
- TradingView Basic (free) is enough to place trades through a connected broker. The free tier has display limits (one chart, two indicators) but the order routing works the same.
- For multi-monitor, multi-instrument charting, Plus is usually the practical minimum.
- Premium is worth the upgrade for active traders who use second-bars or run more than 10 indicators per chart.
- Pepperstone has historically run a promotion that rebates the Pro subscription cost for qualifying active Razor account clients. Confirm the current offer before signing up. Other brokers don’t typically rebate the subscription cost.
TradingView limitations to know about
The integration is mature but a few limitations remain.
Order types. Most brokers support market, limit, stop, and stop-limit through TradingView. OCO and trailing stops vary. If you rely on advanced bracket orders, I would test on a demo first before assuming TradingView handles them the same way the broker’s native platform does.
Custom Pine Script alerts and strategy automation. TradingView’s strategy back-tester runs inside TradingView. You can set Pine Script alerts that trigger TradingView’s order panel, but full unattended automation typically requires a webhook bridge or third-party service. If you want straight automation, I still think MT5 (MQL5) or cTrader (cAlgo) are cleaner choices.
Symbol coverage. TradingView has the symbol, but the broker has to offer the instrument. Exotic crypto pairs and minor stock CFDs exist on TradingView that are not tradable on every AU broker. I would always check the broker’s instrument list for the specific symbol you want.
Mobile. TradingView’s mobile app supports broker integration, but the experience is more limited than desktop. If you trade on the go through TradingView, plan to do detailed analysis on desktop and use mobile for monitoring and quick adjustments.
Subscription cost. TradingView Plus or Premium are the practical minimums for serious traders. I would budget the AUD 20 to 77 per month into your trading costs. The free tier works for placing orders, but the chart limits constrain you fast.
TradingView vs MT4 vs MT5 vs cTrader
| Feature | ||||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Best at | Charting and community scripts | Legacy EA library | Multi-asset and fast backtesting | Depth of market and raw execution |
| Charting quality | Best on market | Dated | Better than MT4 | Modern |
| Automation | Pine Script alerts, no native execution | MQL4 expert advisors | MQL5 expert advisors | C# cBots |
| Community indicators | Largest | Largest legacy library | Smaller than MT4 | Smallest |
| Depth of market | Broker-dependent | No | Yes (limited) | Yes (full L2) |
| Subscription cost | Free Basic tier; paid plans from A$26.95/month (captured 4 August 2026) | Free through the broker | Free through the broker | Free through the broker |
| AU brokers offering it | 18 of 32 | 24 of 32 | 19 of 32 | 6 of 32 |
Across MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradingView, TradingView’s edge is charting and the largest community script library, not native order execution. 18 of 32 ASIC brokers we review offer it.
For most chart-driven discretionary AU traders, I think TradingView is now the strongest default. For automation, MT5 or cTrader. For depth-of-market scalping, cTrader.
See our MT4 vs MT5 comparison and the cTrader brokers page.
ASIC, AFSL and TradingView regulation
TradingView is a software vendor headquartered outside Australia. It does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence. It does not hold your money. It does not execute trades.
The broker behind your TradingView trading account holds the AFSL and runs the trade. That is your broker, such as Pepperstone, OANDA, Eightcap, Vantage or another listed on this page, never TradingView itself.
What that means in practice for an Australian retail client:
- Your funds sit in a segregated client account at an Approved Australian Bank under your broker’s AFSL conditions
- Your trades execute against your broker’s liquidity provider arrangements
- ASIC’s Product Intervention Order applies through the broker, capping retail leverage across every asset class from major forex pairs to crypto
- Negative balance protection is mandatory
- Margin close-out triggers at 50% of initial margin
- The broker is an AFCA member; complaints go to AFCA, not TradingView
- AUSTRAC ID verification applies at the broker, not at TradingView
If you have a dispute about a TradingView trade, raise it with the broker. TradingView’s customer support handles platform bugs (a missing chart, a Pine Script error) but not trade-execution disputes.
For the wider regulatory picture, I would point you to our forex broker reviews hub and the best Australian forex brokers guide.
Compare brokers by the factor that decides it
Each shortlist below re-ranks the market for one decision factor, and our team tested every one the same way as this page. That consistency matters because it lets you compare a cost ranking against a platform ranking without wondering whether the methodology shifted between them.
Start with the overall ranking
Our tested, ASIC-only ranking of the best forex brokers in Australia is the baseline every shortlist below re-ranks. I treat it as the foundation, so when you see a broker move up or down in the specialist lists you can measure that movement against a ranking you already know.
Cost decides it
Once the platform is set, account pricing decides the broker, and that is where these shortlists earn their place. They rank by total cost, which means I want you to see the spread and the commission together, not cherry-picked separately.
You're starting out
Simpler platforms, stronger education, and demo accounts with no time pressure.
What you trade decides it
CFD shortlists re-ranked for the asset class you trade most.
