David Levy is CompareForexBrokers’ Head of Content, a role he has held since 2019 after joining the team in 2018. Based in Melbourne, he manages the writers, sets the editorial roadmap, and checks drafts against their sources before publication.
What I do here
I lead the editorial side of CompareForexBrokers, working with our writers on the content roadmap, briefing them on each page, and checking drafts against the sources they cite. My job is to make sure a published review tells you what was confirmed, where it came from, and when it was checked. That checking is a team effort, and our methodology page documents how the work is divided and recorded.

How I check an Australian broker page
Our methodology separates two kinds of evidence. The first is what we measured ourselves: the team’s funded live-account tests, run and recorded by my colleague Noam Korbl. The second is what a broker or a regulator states: licence conditions, stated spreads, published fee schedules. These are different evidence types, and our reviews label them differently so you know whether a number came from our testing or from the broker’s own information.
Each review keeps dated source artefacts and verification records showing what was confirmed and when. Where a correction is needed, it should show what changed and its source, rather than just re-dating unchanged content.
Before this
I came to content from software testing, and that background taught me that a number is only as good as the source you verify it against, the same instinct you want behind every figure on a broker comparison page. Five and a half years of that were at 2cloudnine, a Salesforce consultancy, first as Salesforce Product Coordinator and then as Senior Test Analyst, building and running test plans, regression suites and release checks. Before that I was a production and business improvement analyst at ANZ, and earlier still spent more than six years at IBM on capacity planning and infrastructure delivery.
The certificates from that period, ISTQB Certified Tester at Foundation Level, plus Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, are not the credentials you would expect on a content lead, but they are the reason I check broker data the way I do.
Education
I hold a Bachelor of Business Systems from Monash University, which gave me the framework for structured verification, and a Graduate Diploma of Arts (Media and Communications) and a Graduate Certificate of Commerce from Swinburne University of Technology, the media qualification I lean on every time I read a draft and ask whether it actually proves what it set out to prove for you.
